EURES provides services for jobseekers and employers in the context of free movement and the promotion of labour mobility within the EU. The aim is to find a solution that helps:

• find jobs,
• provide information on living and working conditions in the member states,
• search for accommodation at the workplace,
• adapt to a new working and living environment,
• go to another member state to work,
• recruit workers from another EU or EFTA member state,

The previous version of the EURES website used Joomla technology, which was not suitable for the client at the time. The Ministry of Family and Social Policy decided to migrate the EURES portal to a larger WORTAL project, which was written in Liferay 6.3 (an older version). Therefore, the new EURES portal was upgraded to the latest version Liferay 7.3.

During the project, our developers acquired Liferay certifications and are now qualified specialists in this technology.

More than 300 people use EURES at the level of consultants and organisations.
The design was refreshed, the website was adapted to WCAG 2.1 requirements, the mobile version of the application was improved and dark mode was introduced.
Functional changes were also taken into account when the EURES system was converted to WORTAL. All users logged in via the data bus, the central BROKER system. EURES has a network of counsellors who provide jobseekers and employers with information. The European network of advisers currently comprises more than 700 people and is still growing. EURES advisers are specialists who provide information, advice and match job offers with potential employees. They help both jobseekers and employers who are interested in the European labour market. They are employees of the public employment services in the individual member states or other partner organisations within the EURES network.
